Trash bin
When a file is deleted, it will be moved to the Research Drive trash bin.
The community edition has a 30-day retention policy for the trash bin, but this can be longer on a branded environment. Please contact your local IT service desk for the exact period.
The trash bin can be reached via the web environment, by clicking on "Deleted files" at the bottom left.
Within the trash bin you will see a list of all deleted files, which can be restored via the restore arrow.
Project Folder Specific Trashbins
A new feature in Research Drive is project folder specific trashbins. These work just like normal trashbins but allow the Project Folder Owner to be able to have an overview of and restore files deleted by others working within their project folder. They will show up on the left sidebar with the trashbin symbol and the name of the project folder.
