Connecting a service to a collaboration makes it available for use by all members of this collaboration.
In the collaboration overview, click the tab 'Services'. Only admins can add and remove services.
Connecting a service to your collaboration
As an admin, on the services tab you will see a section 'Available for this collaboration', listing services available for your organisation which you could connect to your collaboration. Use can also use the 'search for services' function to find the service you need.
A service in the list will, on the right side, show a button:
- Connect to collaboration: these are services you can connect to your collaboration without the approval of the service provider.
- Request connection: for those research services, the administrator of that service has requested SRAM to forward any request to connect, so they can check the request before access is arranged. As soon as the administrator of the research service approves your request, members of your collaboration can access the service

When a connection to a service needs to be requested, the possibility to add a message for the service admin is offered.
Can't find the service you're searching for?
If you believe the service you are looking for is connected to the platform, but it does not show up in the list, refer to Controlling the availability of a service to collaborations for possible causes.
Disconnecting services from your collaboration
The section 'Used by this collaboration' shows services connected to this specific collaboration. As an admin, you'll see a "Remove from collaboration" button. Before using, please consider:
- That members of the collaboration will not be able to access the services anymore via this collaboration.
- What needs to happen with data that has been stored in the service. Contact the service admin in case you want to discuss data export, data deletion, etc.
